Irish Stones
First, I want to say that our excursion to Northern Ireland was a highlight itself in this year. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it. We visited a lot of interesting cities and villages and explored the amazing countryside.
But one highlight was certainly our trip to the Giant’s Causeway, the impressive nature reserve with its steep faces at the coast and the six-sided stones. (Nobody really knows how they came into being.)
Another highlight was our journey to Donegal with its beautiful hilly landscape. I enjoyed our walk up the hill along the coast from where we had a great view upon the Atlantic Ocean. And climbing up the Mount Poison (I don’t know if this is the correct name) was also a real adventure.*

* Note: If you find some heaps of stones on your way to the mountain top, you can add another stone to them in order to express: “I was here”. But, please, do not throw a 5-kilo stone on top but place it carefully there. Otherwise the whole creation will collapse –Right, Hanno?
